Terms of Service
Effective date: 17 August 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SocialForge AI (“SocialForge”, “we”, “us”), including our website, web application, iOS and Android apps, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
SocialForge provides tools on web, iOS, and Android for businesses to manage a brand kit, research a weekly Plan, create one post or let Agent build the week, then review and schedule before anything publishes. You can connect social accounts and publish content you approve to platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be able to form a binding contract and meet the minimum age required in your country (and not under 16 where that higher standard applies for privacy).
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
- If you use SocialForge on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
3. Workspaces and teams
Content and connections may belong to a workspace. Workspace admins are responsible for inviting members, assigning roles, and ensuring teammates use the Service appropriately.
4. Your content and brand assets
- You retain ownership of content and brand assets you upload or create (subject to licenses of any third-party materials you include).
- You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service (including sending content to AI and social platforms you use).
- You represent that you have all rights needed for logos, images, music, trademarks, and personal data you submit or publish.
5. AI-generated content
Features may use third-party AI providers to generate text, images, or video. Outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are solely responsible for reviewing content before publishing and for compliance with advertising, consumer, and platform rules.
6. Social platform connections
- Connecting a social account authorizes SocialForge to access and use APIs according to the permissions you grant.
- You must comply with each platform’s terms, developer policies, and community guidelines (including Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X).
- Platforms may change or revoke API access; we are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or rejected posts.
- You can disconnect accounts in the product; publishing will stop for disconnected accounts.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing content
- Abuse, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service or its providers
- Circumvent rate limits, billing, or access controls
- Misrepresent affiliation with brands or people, or spam social networks
- Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
8. Plans, credits, and billing
- Paid plans and subscriptions are charged through our payment processor (Stripe) at the prices shown at checkout. Credit top-ups are available only while you have an active paid subscription.
- Credits are consumed by paid AI and publishing features as shown in-product (for example captions, studio images, video, week-plan research). Plan cards show illustrative counts (e.g. how many studio images or short videos your monthly credits can cover). Actual usage depends on the features you run.
- Included vs top-up credits. Each paid plan includes a monthly allotment of included credits. On each successful renewal, unused included credits expire and are replaced by the new allotment (soft reset). Purchased top-up credits stack on top and are not wiped on renewal. Debits use included credits first, then top-ups.
- Cancellation. You may cancel anytime in the Stripe Customer Portal (“Manage subscription”). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep paid plan access until then. When the period ends, the workspace returns to the Free plan. Remaining credit balances are kept, but you will not receive new monthly included allotments until you subscribe again.
- Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law (including applicable UK consumer rights) or expressly stated otherwise.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry. Persistent failure may result in suspension of paid features until payment succeeds or the subscription ends.
- We may change pricing with notice for future billing periods.
- Bring-your-own-key (BYOK) is a £5/month add-on subscription. You then use your own provider developer API keys. We still charge a small platform fee in credits per operation as shown in-product; you pay the provider for their usage separately. Consumer subscriptions (e.g. ChatGPT Plus) are not API keys and cannot be used for BYOK. Cancelling BYOK ends key usage at period end; your main plan is separate.
9. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties (authentication, hosting, database, payments, AI, social APIs). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their processing. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
10. Intellectual property
SocialForge’s software, branding, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or source code except as needed to use the Service.
11. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that publishing will succeed, that AI outputs will be accurate, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOCIALFORGE AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
13. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify SocialForge against claims arising from your content, your social posts, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or third-party platform rules.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk, or if required by law or a platform partner. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by nature should survive will survive.
15. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page and updating the effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country provide otherwise.
